Shell Pack

A Shell Pack is comprised of the drums only.  That means the bass drum, rack toms, floor toms, and (sometimes) the snare drum.  The hardware to mount the toms is often included, though sometimes it is not.  It is best to read the fine print on the page to confirm.  We aim to make that easy at Drum Center of Portsmouth, just look at the “Specs” section on the product page, and look for “Mounting Hardware” and to confirm if the snare drum is included, look at “Snare Drum Size”.   This is a very popular way to buy a set of drums for someone who either has a set of drums and wants to upgrade their existing drums, and doesn’t need hardware or cymbals, or someone who is getting started and has extra budget to buy the drums, hardware, and cymbals separately.
