Heavy duty, very stable, great finish. Mapex quality products are the best bang for your buck. Mapex deserves a bigger share of the market.

It can take a a little to get used to it but once you do it's a game changer. Great look and super easy to use in the end.

THIS cymbal works amazingly. I love the 3 zones and hand choke. I purchased in 2026 to upgrade my dtx8k prox mesh to be more like dtx10k.

They definitely don’t slip out of your hands and they teach you to grip your sticks loosely……. Or you’ll lose your skin.

I got this unit for a couple reasons, timpani in a concert band setting and percussion sound effects in the rock/pop/country band. I really can't believe how good it sounds and ALL the options it has at that price point. Still getting used to it but a big 2 thumbs up on this one!!!

Just used at a metal gig. It cuts through clean. Has a beautiful kinda Trashy/Bright tone. LOVE IT

Was looking to supplement my collection of Trick low volume cymbals. But sadly, they have been discontinued. So, I found the Avenir cymbals on your website and then heard your demonstration of them. Turns out, they are a perfect match visually with the Trick cymbals, but have a slightly different sonic palette that gives me some additional sounds for my practice kit. Also, I LOVE that they didn't have any logos. Great value and now I have a wider choice of cymbals to pick from.
