The Yamaha DFP8500C is a well made double chain drive double pedal, with adjustments for the beater angle, footboard angle, and spring tension. In order to eliminate flex, the pedal frames have stabilizer bars cast into them below the rocker shafts - keeping the bearings in alignment and giving the pedal smooth feel and response. The DFP8500C footboards are longer and wider, giving them a solid feel with plenty of room for heel-toe playing. The side-adjustable hoop clamp holds firmly to different thickness hoops, and tightens with a wing bolt.
