Recommend the Canopus Snare Wire Belt for any snare, but especially wood snares as opposed to string. The belt "spreads" the tension against the snare edge so that no damage will be done to that edge.

This kit is a magic trick. I’ve had several compact kits in the past but this truly does sound like a full size kit. Punchy and full sound with the convenience of a smaller kit. Love it.

These mallets are awesome. I got them to tool around my 5 pc. when practicing. They are well made and give the drums are nice deep sound. Turn your snares off and give these Timpani Generals a go. They are great on cymbals also. Very Cool! Thanks DCP
