This Unix Snare drum represents a paradigm shift; it’s a steam bent, solid ply Canadian maple shell that does not have reinforcement rings, and it carries a lifetime guarantee. This drum will not go out of round!
The reinforcement rings focus the sound and raise the inherent pitch. I’m calling this drum the “Paradigm”, and it’s a paradigm for a few reasons; the first being the shell technology, the second being the price. It has an INCREDIBLE bottom end presence. But tuned high, it’s still an outstanding sounding drum. Tune it low, and it challenges you to tune it even lower.
This is a wonderful drum that would fit wonderfully on any drum set.
