If there is one thing I can't stand, it's a sterile and generic snare sound! I've found that the combination of the Fiberskyn Diplomat on top (with its warmer, fatter character), the Orchestral 300 bottom (which helps reduce that metallic bottom head sound), and the Canopus Vintage snare wires gives me a snare sound that is full of personality and body.
