The Longo Drums story begins in Pennsylvania In the early 1990s, when Neil Longo began bending his own solid shell snare drums. Over the years, Longo’s craftsmanship and attention to detail has given his company a stellar reputation. Longo soild shell snare drums are some of the most sought after drums on the market owing to their unique sound and excellent build quality. Longo offers a long list of customizable features, including 14 stains and natural finishes and over 70 different wrap finishes, and at least 15 different wood species… not to mention a huge selection of lugs, hoops, heads, and snare wire.
In 2010, the Longo name has been associated with a number of well-known professional drummers, including the great Vinnie Colaiuta . Here at the Drum Center of Portsmouth, we are committed to supporting Longo Drums by keeping a variety of Longo snare drums in stock at all times.
