The 5x14 Hybrid Exotic VectorCast Snare Drum is a combination of composite filament and resin, which is wrapped around a mandrel in an x-pattern. They throw this concoction in an oven and the result is an ultra strong, 3mm shell that is unlike any other! This material actually gives the shell some flex when you play it. Cool! This drum has pronounced, sharp mids and will cut through any mix while retaining a sense of musicality. The HEP1450 features Spin-Tight Tension Rods, which are fitted with a hex screw that locks the rod in place, no matter how hard you play.
