Purple Paiste Cymbals? The Paiste 900 series have replaced the Alphas, and I really liked the Alphas. They seemed to be a bit of a sleeper in their line, and Paiste has employed some of the technology they've learned from the latest lines they've developed. Having the Colorsounds back make it even better. These sound awesome!

This Paiste 900 Series 17" Crash Cymbal is created from Paiste's industry standard CuSn8 bronze alloy, and refined with Swiss craftsmanship by hand hammering and lathing. The deep Purple Color Sound finish is visually striking, and will turn all kinds of heads at your next gig. This particular crash cymbal is medium-weight and resonates with decent sustain and a deep full-bodied crash with outstanding punch. It also has a seriously cutting bell that is clear and concise. The 17" size is a wonderful compromise if you can't decide on a 16 or an 18. Paiste 900 crash cymbals are a tremendous value, and we carry the entire line at Drum Center of Portsmouth.
