Purple Paiste Cymbals? The Paiste 900 series have replaced the Alphas, and I really liked the Alphas. They seemed to be a bit of a sleeper in their line, and Paiste has employed some of the technology they've learned from the latest lines they've developed. Having the Colorsounds back make it even better. These sound awesome!

These Paiste 900 Series 14" Sound Edge Hi Hat Cymbals are created from Paiste's industry standard CuSn8 bronze alloy, and refined with Swiss craftsmanship by hand hammering and lathing. The deep Purple Color Sound finish is visually striking, and will turn all kinds of heads at your next gig. What makes Sound Edge Hats so special is due to their extra pneumatic hammering along the edge of the bottom cymbal. The result is greater articulation between the top and bottom cymbals.These particular hats are very responsive with a lively intensity and a crisp stick sound. The medium top / medium bottom hats produce an articulate, slightly darker tone with medium to loud volume that is sharp, energetic, and suitable for a variety of genres.
