Meinl Byzance Foundry Reserve Crash Cymbal 18" 1345 grams

The Byzance Foundry Reserve collection is a new selection of cymbals from Meinl that showcases the stunning, sonically rich works of art that their cymbalsmiths can create. These cymbals are complex instruments, packed with layers of tonality and nuance, but that is only half of the story, as they are also visually striking thanks to the one-of-a-kind hand-hammering marks featured on every model. The extra hammering creates many deep craters across the surface which, when coupled with the fully lathed top and bottom, produces a clear, dry stick attack over a lush bed of low undertones – otherwise known as "the roar."

To add to the experience, each cymbal will include a letter from Mr. Meinl, a Certificate of Authenticity, a pair of Meinl Stick & Brush Standard 5A drum sticks, and 100% cotton cymbal protection gloves.
