Drums, Cymbals and Percussion Instrument at Drum Center of Portsmouth

A friend who is a Yamaha player suggested I look into the Stage Custom Birch as one of my choices for a new minimalist practice kit. There are several brand options at this price range but Yamaha packs quite a bit of features into the Stage Custom, making it an outstanding value. The shells/bearings are well done, the lacquer finish is beautiful, and the Tom/BD mount is heavy duty. Just to see if some of the reviewers got it correct, I installed the factory kit heads - and they're surprisingly good. Sure, there's a few things that might get upgraded, but I'd highly recommend this kit for anyone in the beginner to intermediate playing level.

👍

Fantastic cymbal! I ran across the launch video for these on youtube and though they sounded great and for the price is was worth giving a shot. I'm extremely happy with the cymbal regardless of the price. I just ordered another from the Earth line. Can't wait for that one to come in.

Amazing grip and durability

Amazing all around ride such a diverse ability to meet all your needs as a drummer

Nice ride and as always good service

Bought as replacement snares for a Vintage Ludwig 13x3 Jazz combo snare. Perfect fit and the correct snares!

Incredible drum kit, it sounds absolutely phenomenal. Glad i made this purchase.

quick service and as advertised

The decal itself is just fine if a somewhat "expensive" solution. What disappoints me greatly is Yamaha USA does not carry logo heads for resale, so even if DCP wanted to, they could not sell a true Yamaha logo head, hence the decal workaround. Good on DCP for helping out us nerds, fie on Yamaha.

Absolutely love my Trick pedals. Customer service was excellent! Cant wait to go back and spend more money.

Possibly the coolest thing I’ve seen before.

the pad is great and does what it needs to do. the delivery and service was excellent. will happily order again for portsmouth

Fits perfectly and well made

Great product, well packaged!
