At first, I was skeptical about the new Crescent cymbals. But after trying out several Crescent prototypes at the Sabian factory, I was convinced that there was something really special here. The Turkish vibe is there, but now with a more modern flair.
About
These 14" Crescent Element Hats have a medium weight top and heavy bottom. They are fully hand hammered, traditionally lathed, then lined. When closed they offer a bright-ish, crisp articulation. When played slightly open they remain somewhat crispy sounding. A versatile pairing, they are at home in virtually any musical setting.
