I needed a replacement snare strainer and butt plate for an older Pearl snare and ordered one through Portsmouth. The strainer is exactly like the original. The butt plate is slightly different but it does the job. Couldn’t be happier. Plus these guys ship fast! Thanks!

The "rounded" side gives a very focused deep sound and made my DW pedal feel faster. The flatter "disc" shaped side gives a slightly softer sound.
First time using these sticks, and as a power player, they DELIVERED! By far the strongest sticks I’ve used, and had a sharpness and attack I didn’t even anticipate and will be using these exclusively from now on. The staff had answered all my questions in the shop when I had inquired about them and were extremely helpful. All around wonderful experience and could not be more happy with my purchase and the overall experience.
I only use Mapex black panther snares and the hydro is by far the best one I’ve ever played
One final thing, i struck out getting the Inde isolation ring to fit. I did however have great success with the tom mounting bracket from Mapex. The multi-sided profile on the Mapex arm, fit perfectly into the receiver block on BDC’s tom. It sounded fine, not dead, or chocked. I’m keeping this drum to fit in when the need allows. The total build is as good or better than anything ive seen. I have some 1.6 hoops around, those might allow even more … what-ever. K in AK. Sure wish they would have shipped some 20” bd’s over.
