The "basket" has 3 telescoping rods with cylindrical nylon "Finger Pads" that securely grip the bottom hoop. (Finger pads for die-cast and wood hoops are also available.) Additional baskets can be purchased to accommodate the drummers? arsenal of snare drums. Because of the sleek design, the drum and basket assembly can fit into standard cases and bottom heads can be changed easily. The drum and basket assembly has a quick disconnect hub that effortlessly drops onto the AXIS "Hemispherical Clamp", a remarkably simple, yet powerful steel ball-swivel top. This elegant design allows the drum to rotate into perfect placement without the worry of slippage.
